My name is Jonas Eklund, and I live in Sweden. Illustrating and drawing is my hobby. Wowatar.com is my collection of World of Warcraft related art-works.
All illustrations are drawn by hand, using a mechanical, led pencil. If you want to know more about the technique I use, please look under "more" in the top menu.


Why?

The idea came to me when I was playing World of Warcraft. After drawing mainly portraits I was looking for something different. My original idea was to draw player avatars, their wowatars.
This idea changed almost immediately, since drawing monsters in the game offered more variety. Now I only draw player avatars if someone ask me to.

My goal is to continue to do these art-works as long as I find cool monsters to draw. If you have any suggestions, please contact me and let me know.
I will try to film and make timelap drawings of all work from now on, you will be able to se them on this site or on youtube.
